An intra - oral camera is essentially a small television camera fitted onto a pen-sized wand.  It portrays your teeth in a digital format so that we can discuss the dentistry you may need or want.

About the size of a dental mirror, it transmits an enlarged full-color picture of your teeth and gums onto a television screen, enabling us to diagnose problems in their earliest stages. It also lets you see exactly what we see when performing an examination.

 

We can freeze the picture for during the exam for discussion and then print out a copy for you to take home.
